Jewellery Making Process

1

Design & Concept

It all begins with an idea. Designers sketch comfortable, stylish, and durable concepts by hand or digitally — deciding the shape, size, detailing, and where textures or stones will go.

2

Creating the Master (Model Making)

A master piece is crafted using wax, metal, or clay.

3

Mould Making

The master is used to create a mould (usually rubber or silicone).
This allows artisans to reproduce the design consistently — while still finishing each piece by hand.

4

Casting

Molten brass is poured into the mould. Once cooled, the raw jewellery is taken out — rough in texture and unfinished.

5

Filing & Shaping

Artisans refine the piece carefully which require filing its sharp edges, smoothing rough parts, adding engravings or carvings, correcting its shape.
This step requires precision and patience.

6

Soldering & Assembly

Different components (hooks, chains, motifs, connectors) are joined together using heat.

7

Polishing

The jewellery is polished to achieve the desired finish — matte, shiny, antique, or brushed. For oxidised jewellery, a blackened finish is added and lightly polished to highlight details. For dual-tone jewellery, silver and gold tones are layered strategically for contrast.

8

Plating / Oxidising

Depending on the design, oxidised finish is applied for a vintage look, gold/silver tone plating is applied for dual-tone designs
This protects the jewellery and enhances colour.

9

Stone Setting (if required)

Any stones, beads, or embellishments are carefully set and secured.

10

Quality Check

Every piece is inspected for durability, finishing, comfort, secure clasps and joints. Only then is it packed and ready.
